30 miles north of Port au Prince is the large town of Cabaret. Our village of Kilbitè is one mile north of Cabaret just off the main road in the hills. For the past three years we’ve been buffered from gangs. On Sunday March 3rd, 2024 all that changed. Gangs breached Cabaret. They stole the guns from the police station then burned it to the ground. They looted Cabaret. Today gangs occupy Cabaret. Our entire area is under siege. Food and water are scarce. Transportation and communications are limited and sometimes impossible.
The greatest need now is food and water. We have enough emergency food to feed our three villages 4 times a week through April 2024. Please go to our new webpage Crisis Food Relief to see recent photos and learn more about how to help.
Some of our battlefronts for mercy remain the same. Some have been suspended. Some are expanding.
For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.
Colossians 1:19-20
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in all it’s various forms.
Peter 4:10
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
Romans 15:13
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20
We see in Christ’s words, His authority, commands, and assurance. Christ and all He said and did are our motivation to follow Him by faith. If the spirit of Christ’s call to His disciples resonates with you, as it does with us we would enjoy your partnership in His ministry through us. Please... Join us!
